Week 9 - Monday, March 12, 2018 Wow! I’ve been serving the Lord for 2 months!  Y casi 3 semanas aqui en Chile!!!  The time has been FLYING!!! I love my companeras so much!  They are always helping me learn and get out of my comfort zone... which is super hard.  But I love it!  I now start basically every door approach, and they have a rule where I need to ask a question or talk in between each of them when we are teaching, so that I can learn how to talk better and how to think on my feet! Conjugations are killing me.. but thats okay! I know past present, future, conjunctional, and such, but still, it’s hard to keep them all straight!  And I’m memorizing where different topics in the scriptures are.. there’s so much in my brain right now it’s hard to keep it all straight! But my companeras are really good at helping me practice and at helping me speak solo espaƱol todo tiempo! This week was Fast Sunday and I love it!  It’s hard becau...

Week 8 March 5, 2018 Wow, the time here has flown! I only have 4 weeks left in this transfer! Crazy!!! The days feel like weeks and the weeks feel like days.. This week I got called on during a zone conference (with Elder Bragg of the 70) and I actually understood the question and answered (i think) decently! The conference with him was super amazing though, I really love hearing and learning more about what I should be studying right now! I think I'm trying to balance 6 or 7 different topics of study, along with language! Its crazy but so good! My brain has never hurt this much but never felt so good at the same time! I have a sick watch line (sorry, no pictures) and my freckles are coming out! Makes me so happy!!! I love the sun, and am trying to enjoy it before it gets super cold! There are SOO many dogs here! Usually they are behind gates and or are sleeping, but at times there are a lot or really big ones around us, and one starts barking, and then the othe...

Week 7 - First Week in Chile

Image
Hola todos!  Como esta!?  Anyways.. so I’m in Chile now!!!  AAAHHHHH I’m maybe freaking out a little and I’ve already been here for almost a week.. This week was so absolutely insane!  I’m in a trio, my compaƱeras are Hermana Sturges and Hermana Helms.  They are both so amazing, Hermana Helms leaves to go home after this transfer and Hermana Sturges is just over halfway done.  They are the sister training leaders so they help me A LOT!  But we work really hard, and I come home and just want to sleep, but its so amazing! It’s been hard not having anyone I know around me, but I haven’t really had time to think about stuff happening back home, but I hope you are all well, know that I love you and that you are in my prayers! Honestly, it’s been really hard here, when people don’t want to hear about Jesus, and such, it’s really hard on my heart.  But the food here is amazing so that makes up for it! They have tomatoes with cilantro with EVER...
