Week 18 - Baptism & Testimony

Image
Hello from the wetlands! jkjk, its just been raining a lot! Feliz Dia de Madre!!!  (Translation: Happy Mother's Day.) So Saturday W____ got baptized and then Sunday he started asking me silly questions!  Such as... do I have a boyfriend?  When do I finish my mission?  Will I come back to visit after the mission?  Will I stay here of to back to the USA?  and... He wants to be invited to my wedding!  Silly boy, we don't talk about things like that in the mission. Se que estamos humanos. Se que estamos pecadoras. Pero se que no importa q...

Week 17 - May 7, ,2018 Learning in 3 Languages Hola hola! I’m on!!!  Hello Everyone! Wow!  What a week!  I don’t know if I ever had a week more hectic than this week! My new companera se llama Herma Richetti.  She is 19 from the Dominican Republic, and she has 6 months in the mission.  She loves ice cream & chocolate. She studied accounting before her mission. And I think she is a type 4/1 (in the Carol Tuttle system). This week we taught lessons in Spanish, English, and Creol.  How CRAZY! We have an investigator (Wilson) who is Haitino, but speaks English (no Spanish).  So we talk to him in English. Spanish is normal now; but Creol (French) is SUPER hard! I don’t know if my mind can handle 3 languages. But this week was super good!  The members here LOVE to help the missionaries.  We had sushi 2 times this week! # Delicious. My new sector (Parral) is HUGE!  I’ve never had to run to be on time fo...
