Week 17 Learning in 3 Languages

Week 17 - May 7, ,2018 Learning in 3 Languages

Hola hola! I’m on!!!  Hello Everyone!

Wow!  What a week!  I don’t know if I ever had a week more hectic than this week!

My new companera se llama Herma Richetti.  She is 19 from the Dominican Republic, and she has 6 months in the mission.  She loves ice cream & chocolate. She studied accounting before her mission. And I think she is a type 4/1 (in the Carol Tuttle system).

This week we taught lessons in Spanish, English, and Creol.  How CRAZY! We have an investigator (Wilson) who is Haitino, but speaks English (no Spanish).  So we talk to him in English. Spanish is normal now; but Creol (French) is SUPER hard! I don’t know if my mind can handle 3 languages.

But this week was super good!  The members here LOVE to help the missionaries.  We had sushi 2 times this week! #
Delicious.

My new sector (Parral) is HUGE!  I’ve never had to run to be on time for things, but my companion likes running in a skirt with 5 pound backpack.  So we run sometimes. #outofshape. But in our group of focus we have 5 Haitians y 1 latino, that’s how many Haitians to Latinos there are!  (I think) (don’t quote me)

I can’t wait to see pictures and hear experiences from the Philippines!!!

Thanks for the pictures! I live for pictures of everyone!!!   No Marshall didn’t send the clips from his dances... please have him send them!

Hola mama! Como esta? Como le fue su semana? Yo tengo algo importante para decir... THIS SUNDAY IS MOTHERS DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I GET TO SKYPE THIS SUNDAY!!!!!!
Anyways, yeah! If you are on, we can talk about the time and what is best... but if not, it’s gonna be some time between 2 my time and 7 my time... but I only have 20 more minutes so hopefully you are on!

I figured that Dad wouldn’t be on our call for Mother’s Day because he is in the Philippines. Okay, my companera says we’ll call sometime in the afternoon... I’m going to give your number to one of the hermanas in my ward and coordinate with her and you... is that okay?  Her name is Hermana Maritza (I think that’s how you spell it) and I’ll let you know more specifically the hour! She will either contact through text or facebook so don;t be scared to accept a friend request!

That’s about all F..F..Folks!

Love you lots!

Hermana Williams (your favorite daughter)
