Week 14 - Remember Your CPR = Church, Pray, Read

Week of April 16, 2018
I’m on.

Hey, so I almost never have time to write what I want, so I’m writing my thoughts on paper beforehand throughout the week and uploading pictures of them here this week!  There will also be a video in the groups folder!

Hi Fam,
This Week was back to normal (thank goodness).  There weren’t any crazy moments or scaryness! The best thing that happened this week was that we went to the temple with Y___, her cousin L___a, & her palolo (boyfriend) S_____.  Y_____ is going to be baptized next Saturday & her cousin L____ the proxima.

A little about Y____.  She is 16 years old. Catolico.  Didn’t liek the church, so started going to different churches.  Didn’t like any of them, so stopped going all together. The missionaries knocked on her door for about 2 years before she opened the door to Hna. Helms & me.  She’s been in our group de enfoque for a month now. She has any & every question! We’ve taught leccion 1 four times now, & she understand everything.

But she doesn’t just learn.  She applies everything to her life.  And then she teaches it. Her cousin L___ is interested & is probably going to be baptized because of her.  Her boyfriend S_____, who doesn’t want anything to do with religion, is not open to us . Her Sister E____ is coming to church for the first time this week.  She shares all of her knowledge with those she loves. Also, she has tons of questions about missionaries. She wants to contact people with us. She wants to be a missionary!

The best food that I ate this week was pan con chicharon.  Basically bread with chunks of bacon inside. Diabetes in your hand, but Heaven on Earth!  Also, I had a salad of tomatoes, tuna, mayo, avacados, & chicken with lettuce. With lemon and salt.  Super Rico! The best salad I’ve had in my mission!

The most different food I ate this week was soup with garbanzo beans and flan.  The textures are just super weird.

The thing most hard this week were our numbers.  The ward went to Santiago this week for the temple and we only had like 5-ish leccions with a member present.  The least we’ve been asked to have is 23. Well, our numbers can only go up from here!

My companeras are super awesome! I learned a lot from my last trio. I love both of my hermanas!

A think that helped me this week is remembering the basics.  CPR = Church, Pray, Read. It this is all you can do, that’s okay.

I know that God listens to our prayers and He wants to bless us.  So keep up your good work and it will happen.

Thanks for sending a past picture of me.  That seems like so long ago!

Do you have any pictures of videos of my dances or cabarets?  I would love if you could send them to me! My companeras have asked me about them and a few of my investigators and ward members.  Thanks!

Love you all lots!  Hope your week was as good as mine!  I’m off.
